James Bennett Bragman, D.O., F.A.C.P.
Dr. Bragman is a board certified member of the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Geriatric Medicine. He also has his board certification in sports medicine. Additionally, Dr. Bragman is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Internal Medicine at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Michigan.
A highly successful Doctor with a practice in West Bloomfield, Michigan, Jim is also an award-winning broadcast journalist who has served as the "on-air" medical expert for WWJ Radio in Detroit (CBS owned and operated), WJBK-TV (Detroit's FOX network affiliate) and WKBD in Detroit. Dr. Bragman is currently heard nationally on the CNN Radio Network. He was a Resident in Internal medicine at the William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan, one of the top medical facilities in the country. His current practice is 50 percent general internal medicine, 30-35 percent geriatrics, and 15-20 percent sports medicine. His patients include professional athletes and a wide spectrum of individuals ranging in age from adolescent to senior citizen.
As an avid sports fan, Jim believes in practicing what he preaches and is a recognized athlete in the state of Michigan. He has been state ranked in squash for the past five years and is a past Doubles Champion.
