PP or PS Quinoa Breakfast Bowl

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 c quinoa

  • 2 c water

  • ½ c raisins

  • ½ c berries

  • 1-2 bananas, sliced

  • ½ c walnuts, whole or chopped (PS only)

  • 1 ½ c plant milk

DIRECTIONS

  1. Cook the quinoa first. You can prepare the other ingredients while it is cooking. Take 1 c quinoa and add 2 c water. Bring to a boil. Turn down to low and simmer 10-15 min. Place lid on the saucepan at an angle. Cook until the water has been absorbed and the quinoa is cooked and fluffy.

  2. While the quinoa cooks, measure raisins, clean and stem berries, slice banana, and chop (if you want smaller pieces. the walnuts.

  3. Place the quinoa in a bowl and top with raisins, berries, banana and walnuts. Add a much non-dairy milk as you like.

  4. Serve and Enjoy!
