Specialized Support Group: Group Coaching for your WFPB Journey

Your host is Lisa Rice! This group will offer support in identifying goals, helping create small habits for big changes, overcoming obstacles, and provide WFPB cooking/eating support.

As a founding nutrition and lifestyle coach, cooking instructor, and educator at the Whole Foods Medical and Wellness Center, Lisa Rice helped the store’s employees and executives take control of their health. She then partnered with Forks Over Knives physicians Alona Pulde and Matthew Lederman to launch the virtual healthcare model WeHeal, where she offers her decades of experience through virtual group classes and private sessions.

A long-time vegan and Climatarian, Lisa has been teaching plant-based cooking for decades, working with individuals and groups as a regular guest on morning television and as a presenter at lifestyle conferences.

Lisa also worked as a licensed acupuncturist, herbalist, and yoga instructor for over a decade. She holds a Masters in Traditional Asian Medicine from Emperor’s College, is a graduate of the Rouxbe Plant-Based Professional Course and the Global College of Natural Medicine, and is a Certified Yoga Instructor through Yoga Works. She is completing her Well Coaches certification to sit for the NBHWC and her Certified Nutritionist degree at SFSU.

Before switching careers, Lisa was a major-label record company executive. She’s lived and worked in New York, Los Angeles, and Austin. She now mainly lives in San Francisco

Lisa’s passions are cooking and feeding others, writing, reading, gardening, spending time in nature, and sharing her life with her husband David, teenage son Judah, cat Ringo, and rescue pups Luna and Geddy Lee.
