Dr. Vivian Polak presents Women Healing with Nutrition: The Hidden Science Behind Disease Reversal

Dr. Vivian Polak is a Canadian MD who has specialised in the treatment of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, using non-medication treatments such as Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), nutrition, and other lifestyle modifications, as well as judicious medication use. Her expertise extends beyond patient care to training therapists in IPT, as she is committed to improving mental healthcare standards worldwide.

Dr. Polak will introduce the transformative benefits of whole food plant-based nutrition to address various women's health issues, including high blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, heart disease, breast cancer, osteoporosis, menopausal symptoms, fibromyalgia, migraines and other chronic pain conditions, autoimmune diseases and more. She aims to illuminate some of the highest quality research underscoring the remarkable therapeutic potential of what we put on our plates in preventing and reversing many of the daunting health challenges women face. Discovering this information during her own health crisis came a decade after her medical school graduation, where such critical knowledge was conspicuously absent.
